At Hyphenus, we believe in unity, mutual support, and treating people with respect. If your purchase isn’t right for you, we’re here to help.
Our 30-day return policy
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Under our voluntary return policy, items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and have their original tags attached. Socks must also be unopened in their original packaging. These conditions do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
How to start a return
Email hyphenworldus@gmail.com with your order number and the items you wish to return. We’ll provide instructions and the return address.
Please send your return within 14 days of requesting it. We recommend using tracked shipping and keeping your proof of postage.
Return shipping costs
Customers pay return shipping for undamaged, correctly fulfilled orders, including returns for size, color, or change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, or we send the wrong item, Hyphenus will cover any necessary return shipping.
Original delivery charges are nonrefundable unless required by applicable law or the refund results from our error.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Contact hyphenworldus@gmail.com as soon as you notice a problem. Include your order number and, if possible, photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll help arrange the appropriate replacement, refund, or other remedy. The 30-day voluntary return window does not limit your legal rights for faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
Refunds
We’ll inspect your return and notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the return, or sooner where required by law.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.
Exchanges
If you need a different size or color, contact hyphenworldus@gmail.com to check availability and arrange the next steps. Customers pay return shipping for ordinary size or color exchanges.
International returns
Our 30-day return policy also applies to international orders. Customers pay return shipping for ordinary returns, subject to applicable consumer law.
Duties or taxes paid directly to customs or a carrier may require a separate refund request to that organization.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Where those rights differ from our voluntary policy, the law takes priority.
Where EU or UK distance-selling cancellation rights apply, you generally have 14 days after delivery to notify us of cancellation, followed by another 14 days to return the goods. You may notify us by emailing hyphenworldus@gmail.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
For qualifying cancellations, refunds include the cost of standard outbound delivery, but not the extra cost of an upgraded delivery option. Refunds will be made within the applicable legal deadline. Where permitted, we may withhold a refund until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been returned, whichever happens first.
You may inspect goods as permitted by law. Handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning may result in a deduction for diminished value where legally permitted. Our original-tag and unopened-packaging conditions do not override statutory rights.
